Kaumatua Health Grants

The Kaumatua Health Grant's are available all year or until such time as the budget funding is used up. Shareholder Kaumatua aged from 65 years and over are eligable please submit a quote with your letter of application. This Grant is available to assist with the purchase of glasses, hearing aids or dentures.  If you wish to apply for a Kaumatua Health Grant, please write a letter to The Secretary. Mangatawa Papamoa Blocks Inc.,  1 Te Rama o te Tihi Place, RD5, Tauranga; and include the quote from your health service provider                         

Education Grants

Applications for the 2018 Tertiary Education Grants are now closed. Education grants open from the 1st December and close the following year at the end of February. A copy of the application is available here. Alternatively, you can contact the office and arrange for an application to be sent to you.

Certificate x 4                       $300.00ea.
Diploma    x 1                       $500.00.
Bachelor   x 11                     $700.00ea.
Postgraduate x 2                 $1000.00ea.
Masters  x 2                         $1500.00ea.

 

Sports Grants

Sport Grants are open all year round or until the budget is used up.  If you wish to apply for a Sport Grant, please write a letter of application stating your sport, whethe it is , regional, national or internatinal, representative, full budget and a letter of support from sporting orginisation if international.  to The Secretary, Mangatawa Papamoa Blocks Inc., 1 Te Rama o te Tihi Place, RD5, Tauranga; and include the purpose of the Grant and level of sports participation.  Any support documentation would be advantageous.

Dividends

Dividends for 2018 have been paid to all shareholders with known addresses and current bank account details. Please contact the MPBI office if you have not received your dividend payment as your details will require updating.  MPBI has a signification number of Estate shareholdings.  Dividends can not be paid out to Estates.  Please contact the Secretary, Sarah at the MPBI office 07 574 8366 for information and assistance with Maori Land Court successions.

Unclaimed Dividends -  If you have not received your dividend and you are a shareholder or whanau trust / trustee please contact the office with your updated address and bank account details. There are 404 shareholders that we are holding unclaimed dividends for, a total of $241,847.81. If your mother or father or grand-parents where shareholders and you have not succeeded to those shares, our staff is more than happy and capable of assiting you with the process. 2016/2017 Dividends and Kaumatua Grants

The 2016/2017 dividends and kaumatua grants (distributed to those aged 65yrs+ upon application) have been paid to those shareholders with known addresses and current bank account details and have dividends owing to them over $10.00.
