Pacific Coast Village is situated on Maranui Street, between Papamoa and Mount Maunganui.

The village currently offers a wonderful range of facilities with more on the way. The Summerhouse, designed by award winning architects, Sumich Chaplin of Auckland, have designed the building based on the iconic kiwi beach house emphasising the laidback lifestyle Pacific Coast Village offers. The Summerhouse includes a lounge and library area, complete with fireplace and television, pool table, bar, kitchenette and dining area. The beach boardwalk provides residents with easy access to the white sands of Papamoa Beach.

Enjoyed by both residents and visiting bowlers, the international sized Greenweave bowling green is one of the largest ‘tiger turf’ bowling greens of any retirement village in New Zealand.  

The recently completed Pool Pavilion, houses a 25 metre indoor swimming pool and spa, as well as a cardio room.

Currently under construction is the Beach House, the village’s centre piece will be a comprehensive community centre for residents.  Some of the facilities include reception, library, lounge, restaurant, bar, internet cafe’, craft rooms, wellness centre, mini theatre, hair salon, a range of general activity areas.  A comprehensive care facility is also to be developed.

The village offers a range of unique villa designs making the most of the year round outdoor living that the Bay of Plenty is famous for.  The Villas are spacious and all feature internal access garaging.

Committee of Management

The AGM was held on 17 September 2016 and saw Kevin Haua re-elected onto the Committee of Management. Your current Committee of Management are Kevin Haua (chair), Neil Te Kani (deputy), Wakata Kingi, Victoria Kingi and Paula Werohia.

Education Grants

The 2017 Education Grant applications closed on 17 February 2017. Thank you to all those who submitted applications. We received a total of 35 applications. The applicants can expect to hear the outcome of their application in writing within the next few weeks.

2016/2017 Dividends and Kaumatua Grants

The 2016/2017 dividends and kaumatua grants (distributed to those aged 65yrs+ upon application) have been paid to those shareholders with known addresses and current bank account details and have dividends owing to them over over $10.00. If you live overseas and we have your postal address, payment will be disbursed to in the new year. If you have any queries, please contact the office.
